- Aloe Vera Leaf Juice:
Natural Ingredient. Moisturizes, soothes, helps promote healing and calms. Refreshes, softens and soothes. In high concentrations in a cream or lotion, aloe extract can have healing properties and is also a mild humectant.
- Comfrey:
Herbal Ingredient. Contains allantoin for soothing and softening. Called "knitbone" herb in folk remedies because of its healing properties, it soothes and tones the skin.
- Glycerin:
Natural humectant, holds and retains moisture on the skin, helps bind moisture to the skin. Great for chapped skin. A clear liquid that is the model of a great humectant: Glycerin is able to pull water form the air and hold it on the skin.
- Goldenseal: Natural Ingredient. Helps soothe and heal. Anti-itching agent. Wide range of healing applications for skin. Indian tribes used to use this as a general tonic. Also used for skin disorders and has antiseptic properties.
- Orange Oil: This essential oil can be used as a topical agent on the body to help calm skin irritations, itching due to bug bites, poison ivy or poison oak. Orange oil also has been used as a diuretic. As an antiseptic, it can inhibit microbial growth and prevent infection in cuts or scrapes.
- Palm Acid/Palm Kernel Oil:
This organic Palm Kernel Oil is pressed from the fruit kernels of the palm tree Elaeis guineensis. It is most commonly found in handmade soap to increase its lather and hardness. It may also be used in a multitude of other cosmetic and bodycare products for its moisturizing properties.
- Peppermint:
Essential Oil. Refreshes, energizes, relaxes, soothes and stimulates. Inhibits bacterial for clearer skin. Clears your head.
- Vitamin E: Anti-oxidant, nourishes and feeds the skin. Conditioning. Anti-inflammatory, helps reduce fine lines, helps reduce small wrinkles. Improves moisture capacity of skin. Aids in prevention of scar tissue resulting from burns, cuts, and sores. Reported to slow the aging process. Excellent for all skin types.
